Ahhh, the early 90s.
Michael Jackson was still alive and pumping out hits. Hi-tops were in style. Notre Dame was still decent at football. The Saints had arguably the best linebacking corps in the history of the NFL. And Nintendo was all the rage.
I spent countless childhood hours playing Tecmo Super Bowl for the regular Nintendo. Arguably one of the greatest football video games ever made. I still play it to this day at least once a month with a few other nostalgic Nintendo buddies from work.
Back then, a weekend sleep-over was required to play against friends. But not anymore thanks to the invention of this great thing they call the internet. Now friends, or just TSB fans, can play over the ‘net in a few simple steps.
Fancy a game of Tecmo Super Bowl? Head over to The Tecmo Players Circuit to learn about online play. When you get up and running, hit me up via AIM (Mikus the Tiger) so we can go head-to-head.
