345,000 James Rodriguez Replica Shirts Sold in 48 Hours by Real Madrid

Real Madrid have sold 345,000 James Rodriguez shirts in 48 hours since the Colombian signed for the Liga giants.

Who Ate All the Pies picked up on a report by Spanish newspaper Sport that cited the figure. Sport's source for the number was Euromericas Sport Marketing.

The World Cup Golden Boot winner completed his £63 million transfer on Tuesday and was unveiled in front of 44,000 people at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Sport also reports that over one million Cristiano Ronaldo shirts have been sold since he joined Real Madrid.
