James Rodriguez is this summer's major arrival to Real Madrid after completing a deal to join from Monaco.

The man who made that same high-profile switch last summer, Gareth Bale, was among the first of the Madrid team to wish him well.

Another great player joins @realmadrid, welcome @jamesdrodriguez, enjoy today!!! #halamadrid

Bale's move was less than a year ago, completed on September 1, 2013.

And wouldn't you just know it—rather than reply by DM, James replied for the world to read:

Thank you @GarethBale11 Can’t wait to meet you and the team. #allin #HalaMadrid

Rodriguez had earlier tweeted about his Real dream, and how pleased he was to have joined the biggest club in the world:

El sueño ya es REAL. Feliz de hacer parte del mejor club del mundo. #HalaMadrid @realmadrid

All eyes will be on Real to see how they can accommodate such an incredible array of forward talent.

Oh, and of course to find out how Cristiano Ronaldo chooses to welcome Rodriguez to the club.
