If you haven't heard, EA Sports released the Madden 15 ratings for many of the highly touted rookies set to begin their first seasons in the NFL.

That's right, fans: It's that time of year again. Madden, NFL football, what could be better for football and video game fans?

Here's the video released on Monday showing off the aforementioned rookies in all their fully rendered, next-gen glory:

Recently, I got an opportunity to discuss the ratings for the rookies with EA Sports' ratings czar Donny Moore. Our conversation is contained in the featured video. If you want to know the skinny on any player's rating—now and during the season—Moore is the one to follow on Twitter.

He oversees the entire process, and his weekly updates are almost as sought after as the injury reports from the real-life action in the NFL.

Donny and I talked about some of the highest-rated young studs like the Houston Texans' Jadeveon Clowney and, of course, Cleveland Browns hotshot signal-caller Johnny Manziel.

Will Brinson of CBS Sports is already strategizing ways to make Clowney even more dominant in the game.

Clowney's potential is sure to make the Texans a favorite for gamers looking to find a fun and challenging team to guide through the Connected Franchise mode.

Finding out the new information about the rookies is one of the most interesting aspects of the Madden prerelease hype. Every year it seems this process gets more grand.

The reveal that took place on Monday was only a partial one. It will only serve to whet our appetites for the full information dump coming closer to the game's release.

Madden NFL 15 will be available in stores on Aug. 26 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox and Xbox 360. The screenshots and video are looking solid, but stay tuned for full demo impressions and a review once we have an opportunity to give the game a spin.
