Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel may not be his team's starting quarterback in Week 1, but his No. 2 jersey is in high demand.
ESPN.com's Darren Rovell reported that Manziel currently has the best-selling jersey in the NFL. Given all of the hype surrounding the former Texas A&M star, that shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
Here is a list of the five best-selling jerseys in the league through its first fiscal quarter, via Rovell:
|2014-15 Best-Selling NFL Jerseys (First Fiscal Quarter)|
|1||Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel|
|2||Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson|
|3||San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick|
|4||Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning|
|5||Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman|

The Super Bowl-champion Seattle Seahawks are represented well on the list. The Seahawks have the most jerseys of any team in the top 25. Along with quarterback Russell Wilson and cornerback Richard Sherman, the "12th Fan" (10th), running back Marshawn Lynch (11th) and safety Earl Thomas (20th) also cracked the list.
Manziel wasn't the only rookie to make the list. St. Louis Rams defensive lineman Michael Sam (sixth), Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (13th), Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (16th) and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles (18th) were among the bestsellers.
