Don't Forget About The Gators

IconIn the past 2 weeks, 4 distressing things have happened: LSU has went from a team with a championship defense and a suspect offense to the best team in the nation, USC has went from the best team in the nation to guarding against a Nebraska upset, Oklahoma has went from a team with a question at quarterback to a sleeper national title team with a bruising defense and punishing running game, and Tim 'Touchdown' Tebow is not in the running for the Heisman.

Too bad the nation didn't mention who the Tigers beat up on. I could get 10 guys and keep Mississippi State and Virginia Tech out of the endzone. Need I remind everyone that Florida has an offense that's about 100 times better than MSU's or VT's. USC used a limited playbook against Idaho and should get by Nebraska. Oklahoma flexed their muscle against an inexperienced Miami team. Tim Tebow has had 2 very impressive performances that rival the Brian Brohm, Ray Rice, and the West Virginia pair of Pat White and Steve Slaton.

The Gators are the fastest team in the country on both sides of the ball and have the talent to challenge LSU, USC and Oklahoma, so why are the Gators getting slighted? The Gators should win the this game easily so look forward to a big effort from Tim Tebow against the hated Volunteers to remind the nation that the Gators are in the discussion of best team in the nation.   It should also put LSU on notice for their October 6th primetime clash.
