Bryce Harper Tagged Out at 1st Base After Dive Comes Up Short

Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper may have had the most embarrassing moment of his young career on Sunday.

Harper led off the sixth inning of the Nationals' game against the Milwaukee Brewers with a walk. 

After Harper took a decent lead off first base, Brewers pitcher Yovani Gallardo threw over to first baseman Mark Reynolds. Harper's dive back to the bag came up a bit short.

Harper's dive is reminiscent of one done by Willie Mays Hayes, minus the colorful gesture:
