It was Derek Jeter's final All-Star Game, and it didn't let us down. To cap off a great career, Jeter led the American League to a 5-3 win over the National League.

Jeter led off the game with a double and scored the first run of the game. Then, MVP Mike Trout went to work, notching the first of his two extra-base hits and RBI.

The NL fought back, but it wasn't enough, as the Twins' battery of Glen Perkins and Kurt Suzuki went to work in the ninth and shut it down for the save in front of the home crowd.
