Lavar Johnson in Stable Condition, Surgery Was Succesful

Heavyweight Lavar Johnson has suffered a gun shot wound to the abdomen, according to reports.

Bob Cook, Johnson's trainer and manager, said to Sherdog.com that Lavar was "between serious and critical condition."

MMADieHards.com has learned that Johnson underwent surgery this morning for internal injuries and the surgery was successful. Johnson is in stable condition at this time.

Lavar's representation, Zinkin Entertainment, continues to ask for everyone's prayers for his continued recovery.
