The Chicago Tribune is reporting that late Monday the Chicago Blackhawks will announce that Troy Brouwer, Ben Eager and Colin Fraser have all re-signed with the team.

The three were, along with Cam Barker and Kris Versteeg, among a list of restricted free agents at the center of an alleged slip-up by the Blackhawks.

The Hawks reportedly did not tender a list of their restricted free agents their formal offer sheets by the league mandated deadline, and ran the risk of the players becoming unrestricted free agents.

Eager played a significant role in the Hawks up-tempo physical play in the playoffs this past season, stepping up his offensive game. Fraser, like Eager, has emerged as a fan favorite for his energy and willingness to drop the gloves with anyone at any time.

These three signings would leave Barker, Versteeg and Aaron Johnson left on the list of the team's restricted free agents. Johnson's agent has been vocal about the missing contracts.

Barker and Versteeg are both young players believed to be part of the core to the roster that the team is trying to keep intact.
