Are you free Wednesday night? Good, there are some fights that need to be watched!

UFC Fight Night 45 comes to you live from Atlantic City, New Jersey, on the backs of main eventers Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller. Both men are in the upper echelon of the lightweight division and are jockeying for position in the title picture.

Also on the card are longtime UFC vets such as Rick Story, Edson Barboza and Evan Dunham, all of whom grace the main card with their exciting brand of fighting.

Without further ado, here are five reasons to turn to Fox Sports 1 Wednesday.

Win 11 or Win 14?

Donald Cerrone has 10 wins in the UFC. Jim Miller has 13. Both men are looking to add to their double-digit win totals come Wednesday.

Of course, Cerrone also has many wins in the WEC organization that Zuffa came to own. He has been doing this song and dance for a while, as you can see by his numbers.

This is an exciting matchup. Miller is a gritty, tough-as-nails grappler with boxing ability, while Cerrone is a smooth striker with underrated ground skills.

So, who will get their next win? Find out Wednesday night if it's Cowboy or Miller.

Backs Against the Wall

It wasn't long ago that Edson Barboza and Evan Dunham were contenders in the UFC lightweight title picture. Now, they may be fighting to stay relevant come Wednesday night.

Barboza has dominated most of his time in the UFC, except when he has had to step up in competition. In bouts with Jamie Varner and Donald Cerrone, the Brazilian was handled pretty easily in the first round. Those two are really the only top guys he has fought.

After starting off 4-0 in the UFC and being considered the future of the lightweight division, Dunham has gone just 3-5 in his last eight fights. This includes two losses in his last two fights against Rafael dos Anjos and Cerrone, which means another loss could result in him seeking new employment.

It's go time for both men.

The Ultimate Fighter 20 will feature women's strawweight fighters and crown a champion. However, those cast members won't be the first 115-pounders to step into the Octagon.

Top Brazilian fighter Claudia Gadelha will take on Finland's Tina Lahdemaki, who is making the drop from 125 pounds. Both ladies are ranked fighters with impressive undefeated resumes.

If you haven't seen either lady fight you are in for a treat. However, as puzzling as it is, you can catch this fight on Fight Pass.

It should be a good one.

Wednesday Night Fights!

Wednesday nights are lonely nights. Most things on TV are garbage these days, so having fights on Wednesday night make it worthwhile to turn on Fox Sports 1.

If you are like me, you try to reserve the weekends for going out with friends and generally getting out of the house. However, when you have multiple UFC events per month on the weekends, you have to pick and choose sometimes.

Wednesday night fights should become more common. They are nice changes to the weekend events.

I've got some good news for you. If you have the correct cable package, UFC Fight Night 45 is free!

Free cards are usually very good, especially the "Fight Night" cards. They feature hungry up-and-comers and gritty veterans that are there to impress and put on a show for the fans.
