That's exactly what happened to viewers in some parts of southern New York and northern Pennsylvania who were watching the game on ABC affiliate WENY.
Mitigating circumstances—there was a tornado on the way—but still, if you're watching the World Cup final, you're probably going to sit tight for the next few minutes anyway...
