Earnhardt finished 10th in the Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
It was an uphill battle for the No. 88 team most of the day at the one-mile New England oval. Earnhardt played track position the entire event and gradually worked his way forward on the track with an improving race car. The hard work paid off as Earnhardt broke into the Top 10 late and finished there for the 13th time this season. He remains second in the championship standings at 12 points behind leader Jeff Gordon.
