Madison Bumgarner Gives San Francisco Giants Their 2nd Grand Slam of the Day
Jake SilverSocial Media StaffJuly 13, 2014

In the fifth inning of the San Francisco Giants' clash with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, Buster Posey hit a grand slam to bring the score to 4-1 in favor of the Giants.

That was just the first of the day for San Francisco.

In the sixth inning, pitcher Madison Bumgarner added four more runs to the Giants' scoreboard, smashing a grand slam of his own, bringing it to 8-1. This was his second grand slam of the year.

History would be made with the second:

Per @EliasSports, this is the first time in MLB history a pitcher and his catcher hit a grand slam in the same game.
