The Mets second game in a three-game series ended in a tough loss.

If you thought the Mets had chance against the current best team in baseball, you were sadly mistaken.

Arizona attacked Duaner Sanchez with four hits and a walk to give him five earned runs for the day.

Besides the surprisingly poor outing of Sanchez their was another surprise. Aaron Heilman and Jorge Sosa gave up no runs, bringing their respective ERAs to 5.19 and 6.22. Sanchez' ERA is now at a high of 6.00.

Although it was a loss, not all was lost. Ryan Church went 2-for-4 with one strikeout, and Carlos Delgado went 1-for-4, bringing in three of the four runs with a home run.

Jose Reyes stole his eighth base of the year. The bullpen with the exception of Sanchez had a decent outing.

Scott Schoeneweis ended the game with one hit and one strikeout and proved to be a key in the Mets bullpen. All in all, Mike Pelfrey is starting to show his true colors and we can't wait for Pedro to come back.

The Mets need a decent starting pitcher if they want to contend.
