The marquee matchup for opening night of the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League did not disappoint.
Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker both played well in their first organized action for the top basketball league in the world.
Wiggins led his Cleveland Cavaliers to a 70-68 victory with 18 points on 7-of-18 shooting. Parker put up 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting, to go along with nine rebounds in the loss.
In addition to Parker and Wiggins, both teams got solid performances from 2013 first-rounders.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 17 points and showed off his insane length and athleticism on a couple drives for the Bucks. Anthony Bennett showed off a leaner body and more explosiveness to go along with 15 points for the Cavs.
Both these franchises have a lot to look forward to in the future.
