What's the best way to celebrate signing a lucrative offer sheet? Party with the man who made you the offer.
On Wednesday, ESPN's Marc Stein reported that restricted free agent Chandler Parsons signed a three-year offer sheet with the Dallas Mavericks.
ESPN sources say Mavericks and Rockets RFA Chandler Parsons have reached agreement on three-year offer sheet worth in excess of $45 million— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) July 9, 2014
As it turns out, Parsons signed the deal while at a club.
Parsons will now have to wait to see if the Houston Rockets will match the offer sheet, but at least for one night, he was able to celebrate with his potential future employer, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
Extremely humbled! One night of fun and back to work. THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me! I am blessed.— Chandler Parsons (@ChandlerParsons) July 10, 2014
Although Parsons may not be a Maverick yet, he is getting a chance to see what life with Cuban is like.
