Brazil's shocking 7-1 defeat to Germany in the World Cup semi-final was embarrassing for all involved. The heat maps from the game for the Brazilian players elucidate that point pretty nicely.

Above, you can see where David Luiz spent his time on Tuesday.

Yes, that's £50 million centre-half David Luiz, who was Brazil's captain for the night.

For reference, this is what usual captain and fellow centre-half Thiago Silva's heat map looked like against Colombia:

While David Luiz was all over the place, a certain Brazilian forward wasn't much better.

That would be Fred, who played 69 minutes with almost zero impact.
