Germany dominated Brazil from the start, with Thomas Mueller kicking off the scoring with a goal in the 11th minute. Germany added goals in the 23rd, 24th, 26th and 29th minute to take a 5-0 lead into halftime. Germany added two more in the second-half, and Brazil's Oscar found the net in the 90th minute to complete the final line of 7-1, Germany.
Miroslav Klose's goal in the 23rd minute was a historic one, as the German striker now owns the World Cup record for goals, with 16 over the span of his career.
Germany will play in their record 8th World Cup Final on Sunday against the winner of the Netherlands-Argentina game on Wednesday.
Brazil's tournament isn't over, as the hosts will face the loser of Netherlands-Argentina in the third place match on Saturday.
