Our latest look at the top Premier League players in action at the World Cup, with data from our friends at, sees the highest ranking of any of the quarter-finalists go to Aston Villa and Netherlands defender Ron Vlaar.

The Dutchman's role in the 0-0 draw with Costa Rica, which the Netherlands negotiated on penalties, was crucial to his team.
