Liverpool have revealed a new third kit for the 2014/15 season.

Having kept things fairly simple with the red and yellow main kits, the third kit boasts black, grey and red hoops as well as a stripe running diagonally across the shirt.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, there's no picture of Luis Suarez in the new shirts, with rumours of his exit from Anfield overshadowing the club's summer.

Reaction to the new design was split.

There were compliments:

There was criticism:

That collar on the third kit is horrid bleh warrior

Meanwhile, there was the inevitable comparison to Manchester United, who also launched a kit today:

Remind me to never complain about the United kit. RT @WARRIOR_FTBL: #DEMAND - the Warrior @LFC 2014/15 Third kit pic.twitter.com/KOqSHzGnUB
