Well, somehow this makes sense the Mets talk of trades is causing a downfall in everyting. Yes I know how horrible the Mets have been but Hearing the talk of trades around the Mets clubhouse doesn't help either. As many of people know especially Mike Pelfrey confidence plays a big factor in a tems success or a teams downfall. Rumors such as trades for Adam Dunn and Matt Holliday could definitely be affecting the Mets play mainly because players such as Parnell and F-mart could start to wonder if they will have a job tomorrow in Ny.The reason why this would caus a confidence downfall is because they ma feel that the Mets and their management do not have confidence that they can go on the field everyday and play well which in return downgrades their confidence. This would have the same affect on the Mets as if Jerry Manuel started crying again that they dont have the team to win it.
