Steve McNair, former Ravens and Titans quarterback, has been found dead.

An investigation is well underway and details are limited at this time.

He was found in downtown Nashville along with a yet-to-be-identified 20-year old female. Both appear to have gunshot wounds.

At this time it is being investigated as a double homicide. McNair was 36 years old.

McNair leaves behind a wife and four sons.

More details coming as soon as they are available.

A former fraternity brother and NFL player has been quoted as saying, "his wife did not shoot him and please stop such rumors."

Please keep Mr.McNair's family in your thoughts through this most difficult time.
