Brazil vs. Colombia: Live Score, Highlights for World Cup 2014 Quarterfinals

Brazil is through to the semifinals!

The hosts looked shaky in the beginning but a quick score from Thiago Silva gave Brazil the early lead. Brazil kept up the pressure on Colombian star James Rodriguez throughout the match, playing a physical game against the goal-scorer. That kept the Colombians off balance and played into Brazils favor.

David Luiz scored a golazo on a free kick that dipped and curved into the back of the net, and that proved to be the game-winner. However, the glee was cut short as star Neymar was taken off the field on a stretcher with an injury.

Colombia had a spark of life after Rodriguez converted a late penalty kick, but Brazil held on for the win.

Brazil will face Germany in the semifinal round.
