France vs. Germany: Live Score, Highlights for World Cup 2014 Quarterfinals

Ken Chin@@thekenchinSocial Media StaffJuly 4, 2014

Germany advance past France with a 1-0 victory in the quarterfinals!

Mats Hummels had the lone tally in the 12th minute with a header off a beautiful cross during a set piece. The Germans kept the pressure on, creating chances, but there wasn't to be another score.

France looked outclassed for most of the match until they pressed for a score late in the match. However, it was too little, too late.

Germany become the first team to advance to four straight semifinals.
