As the NBA is currently in 2009 Free Agency, we have seen teams unload players via trade, or letting players go and test the market.

Some of these teams are planning for the 2010 off-season already, which will make a huge splash for some squads in the NBA.

Here are four teams that have showed they are going to make a run at a star next year.

4. Milwaukee Bucks

MILWAUKEE - FEBRUARY 20: Referee Luis Grillo #8 warns Charlie Villanueva #31 of the Milwaukee Bucks to stay off of the court after a melee broke out during a game between the Bucks and the Cleveland Cavaliers as teammate Charlie Bell #42 listens in on Feb

The Milwaukee Bucks let Charlie Villanueva walk into free agency, as he went on to sign with division rival Detroit. They must have some trick under their sleeve.

With a future need at the forward spot, they could make a play for one in 2010 if they can unleash a few contracts. Watch out for those Bucks!

3. Phoenix Suns

LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 18: Shaquille O'Neal #32 of the Phoenix Suns is congratualted by his teammate Steve Nash #13 and Grant Hill #33 during the basketball game against the Los Angeles Clippers during the second quarter at the Staples Center on Febr

The Phoenix Suns are currently looking to dish off Amar'e Stoudemire to another team. But that doesn't mean they won't be players in 09.

The team received the expiring contracts of Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic in the Shaq trade. This as well as Amar'e's possible exit out of town, the Suns will have room to go after a Chris Bosh-esque player if they want to stay competitive.

Question is: will the front office make a right decision in doing this?

2. New York Knicks

Surprise, surprise. The Knicks have been waiting for the 2010 off-season for a few years now, and we certainly know they will make a splash at any player, especially the King.

As they continue to unload on hefty contracts and bring in expiring ones, will they find luck a year from now? Will they be able to sign a star or two to revive the franchise, or will this plan fall in front of Donnie Walsh's eyes?

1. New Jersey Nets

The New Jersey Nets are ready to make a splash when 2010 comes around, you can bet on it. They dealt Vince Carter, unleashing a huge contract, while also picking up expiring contracts at the end of next season.

New Jersey will have a few needs, in shooting guard and power forward. Suppose Dwayne Wade came available, you know they would be all over him.

You shall also expect the Nets to go after Chris Bosh or Amar'e Stoudemire as well. Nonetheless, if LeBron is a free agent, Jay-Z will be knocking on his door pretty quickly.
