 Paul Kruger DE - He origanly sighned with Utah as a QB and developed into a defensive end, Kruger was on The Mountain West All American Team in 2008.

Key Arrival: Brian Blechen QB - Blechen has great size and is a great athlete at the QB.

Must-Watch Game: September 19 @ Oregon

 

6. Alabama Crimson Tide

Reason: Wont be as good as they were last year but Julius Jones should have a breakout year and lead this team to a good bowl game.  

Key Departure: Andre Smith OT - Smith was a great blocker to John Parker Wislon and was a 2008 AP All American.

Key Arrival: Dre Kirkpatrick CB - Kirkpatrick, the 4th best high school prospect, is very athletic and has excellent coverage skills.

Must-Watch Game: November 11, VS, LSU 

 

7. Ohio State Buckeyes

Reason: This might be one of the best teams out there. Losing Chris 'Beanie' Wells was a huge loss but they have gigantic potentiol in Terrell Pryor.

Key Departure: Chris 'Beanie' Wells RB - Wells was a hiesman canidate last year before he got hurt but put up great numbers for Ohio State.

Key Arrival: Jaamal Berry - They brought this guy in to replace Wells, he is really explosive and has once every ten year kind of acceliration.

Must-Watch Game: September 12 vs USC

 

8. Penn State Nittany Lions

Reason: Joe Patterno is coming back at age 83, and Daryll Clark is a great QB . Look for this team to win a championship for one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Key Departure: Aaron Maybin DE - The All American was great for Penn Stae and was one of the top DE's in the draft.

Key Arrival: Miles Dieffenbach OC - Dieffanbach is very versitale and can play all positions on the line, should help protect Daryll Clark.

Must-Watch Game: November 7 VS. Ohio State

 

9. Oregon Ducks

Reason: Oregon was good last year finishing 9th in the rankings last year. Using two QB's look fo Oregon to be good.

Key Departure: Patrick Chung S- He was a guy that played every day for Oregon he holds the record for most games played on Defense.

Must-Watch Game: October 31 VS. USC

 

10. TCU Horned Frogs

Reason: They were 12-1 last year and surprised many with their win against undefeated Boise St. last year.

Key Departure: Jason Phillips MLB- Phillips was a very athletic player who would sometimes play QB.

Key Arrival: David Johnson DT- He is very tough and disruptive and tough. A great fit for the TCU defense.

Must-Watch Game: September 26 @ Clemson
