Chile's loss to Brazil in the last 16 of the World Cup was a heartbreaker for the beaten side, with Mauricio Pinilla coming within a hair's breadth of winning the game right at the death.

His shot hit the crossbar, however, and the team lost a nervy penalty shootout.

How do you mark such a remarkable moment? Well, if you're Pinilla, the answer appears to be: on your body.

Pictures have emerged of Pinilla seemingly at a tattoo parlour getting the ink done.

Next to a still of the shot, the caption reads: "One centimeter from glory."

Whether you like the tattoo or not, it's a fine representation of the moment.
