In college football, there are those teams that you know have absolutely no chance of winning a conference championship. Then there are the teams that are right there but are afraid to capitalize. Many teams have all the pieces to win a major bowl game, but their dominoes just don't fall in the right direction. These are the teams that i believe will get their stuff together and become a major threat to college football. The top three teams could be in any order.

5. Oregon Ducks

CORVALIS, OR - NOVEMBER 29: Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli #2 of the Oregon Ducks looks to make a pass play during their game against the Oregon State Beavers at Reser Stadium on November 29, 2008 in Corvalis, Oregon. The Ducks defeated the Beavers 65-38. (

I think that Jeremiah Masoli is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in college football. He has a great arm as well as running ability. As for their running game, I have LeGarrette Blount in the top 5 running backs for the 2010 draft. Their offense all seems to be in check, but the real question is if the Duck's defense is going to show up this year. Time will tell.

4. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

ATLANTA - NOVEMBER 1: Running back Jonathan Dwyer #21 of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets runs for a second quarter touchdown during the game against the Florida State Seminoles at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field on November 1, 2008 in Atlanta,

Two words: Jonathan Dwyer. When you have an elite running back like this guy, it's pretty hard not to win a bowl game. Yet, Georgia Tech managed to get their butts handed to the by LSU. That's not what I see happening this year. I think this is the year for Geogia Tech to reclaim the ACC.

3. Ole Miss Rebels

DALLAS - JANUARY 02: Quarterback Jevan Snead #4 of the Mississippi Rebels drops back to pass against the Texas Tech Red Raiders during the AT&T Cotton Bowl on January 2, 2009 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. (Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)

Jevan Snead is a player I'm expecting to get strong Heisman hype this year. As you all know, you can't win the Heisman Trophy without leading your team to an amazing record. If he can develop into the player he should be, this will be one very deadly team.

2. California Golden Bears

Jahvid Best is straight up my favorite player in the country. He is lightening quick and has the ability to three to four people miss every play. This is a perfect player to lead this team to a PAC-10 championship. And with USC being in my mind very iffy on defense, it is the perfect time to de-thrown them of the PAC-10.

1. Boise State Broncos

In my mind, the most underrated team in Division 1 football has revenge on their minds. With practically all of their starting team back, their is no reason not to reclaim the WAC. Their defense can hang with the best teams in the country, no doubt, and when they have a defense like that, it leaves room for the offense to be a lot more relaxed. BSU will be the same old BSU: a team with a hard work ethic, amazing depth, and a will to win.
