The Chicago Bulls got the shooter they so desperately needed after trading away the 16th and 19th picks in the 2014 NBA draft to the Denver Nuggets for Doug McDermott.

ESPN's Jeff Goodman reported the news:

The Chicago Bulls' official Twitter account eventually confirmed the deal:

Three-point shooting was one of the Bulls' biggest problems last year. They finished 26th in made three-pointers and 24th in three-point percentage in the 2013-14 season. In McDermott, Chicago receives one of the best long-range specialists in the draft.
