United States Are All Smiles in Locker Room After Advancing to Round of 16

The United States lost to Germany, 1-0, on Thursday, but you'd never know it by looking at the locker room after the match.

Despite the loss, the United States are advancing to the knockout stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup thanks to Portugal's victory over Ghana. This marks the first time Team USA has ever made it out of group play in back-to-back World Cups.

The players took some time after the match to soak in the moment:

Making it out of the "Group of Death" is reason enough to celebrate.
