President Barack Obama wasn't going to let a trip to Minnesota keep him from rooting on the United States in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The president of the United States was flying in Air Force One while Team USA played its final match of group play against Germany on Thursday. Thanks to a television on the plane, President Obama and others were able to watch the game in style.

The United States lost the match 1-0 but advanced out of the "Group of Death" and on to the knockout stage thanks to Portugal's 2-1 victory over Ghana in the other Group G game.
