The Vanderbilt Commodores had just won the College World Series, but baseball wasn't the only thing on pitcher Brian Miller's mind Thursday night in Omaha.

As the team celebrated the victory, the Vanderbilt pitcher made his way over to his girlfriend. She may have just been ready to congratulate him on being part of a championship team, but he had other ideas.

The pictures tell the story just as well:

All of this came after the team celebrated together:

Make that two moments that will never be forgotten by Miller.

Of course, a victory proposal on the big stage has been done before. Nobody will ever forget watching Boise State running back Ian Johnson propose to his cheerleader girlfriend after the Broncos pulled off one of the greatest victories ever in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. However, that proposal didn't come after a national championship had just been won.

This will be a night that Miller will never forget.
