Blake DeWitt, as sure with the glove as anybody on the Dodgers, had a rough time against the Rockies on Friday.
With a seven to three lead in the seventh inning, Blake had two errors back-to-back setting the stage for a three-run inning for the Rox. He also made a mental mistake, in my opinion, when with the bases loaded and none out, he fielded a ball and threw to second base, not home where he could have made the easy out and cut off the run.
Blake was not all bad of course, coming off the bench with a pinch hit, two-run single in the sixth, and later walking and scoring in the eighth.
A short one today but I had to make the statement.
