Paige continued her impressive run as Divas champion Sunday night as she defeated Naomi to retain her title at Money in the Bank. WWE's account provided a shot of Paige with her belt and a Vine of her celebration after the win:

It was a wild match from start to finish. Both WrestlingINC and Robert Littal of BlackSportsOnline had strong praise for both ladies:

Paige kept it simple in her post-match tweet:

Since defeating AJ Lee the night after WrestleMania XXX, Paige has run roughshod over the Divas division. It seemed as though she may have finally met her match in the form of Naomi, however. The Funkadactyl defeated Paige in a non-title match to earn a shot at the butterfly-emblazoned belt.

With a loss to Naomi already on her record, Paige was fully aware of the immense challenge that awaited her at the pay-per-view:

Although Paige was pushed to the limit in her toughest title defense to date, the Anti-Diva from Norwich, England, managed to keep the title in her possession. As seen in this photo courtesy of Paige's Instagram account, she seemingly hasn't let the championship out of her grasp since she first won it:

The match between Paige and Naomi was about mutual respect as Paige acknowledged that Naomi deserved and earned the title shot. Although there was no animosity between them, the involvement of Cameron added another wrinkle to the situation.

While Paige beat Cameron on multiple occasions leading up to Money in the Bank, the more vocal member of the Funkadactyls made it clear that she would be coming after Paige. This is despite the fact that Naomi is the one who walked the walk in the ring.

Not only did this create heat between Paige and Cameron, but it also led to some friction between Naomi and Cameron for the first time. Aside from all the outside distractions and storyline situations, though, Paige and Naomi simply put on an excellent match.

Since the Money in the Bank card was lacking aside from the two ladder matches, Paige and Naomi were given more time and emphasis than most Divas matches. In the end, it paid off as the two physically gifted stars thoroughly impressed.

Naomi is unquestionably the most athletic Diva on the entire roster as she can do things that most of the other Divas can't. Paige, on the other hand, is among the best from a technical perspective, so it is only natural that they were able to jell and do some great things together in the ring.

It has been quite some time since there was a true emphasis placed on actual wrestling in the Divas division, so it was nice to see Paige and Naomi dedicate themselves to the craft.

This is a feud that could have some staying power due solely to the synergy they have together as competitors, but it is likely that Paige will move on to something else in the wake of another defense. A feud with Cameron is a possibility, but Paige has already beaten her on several occasions.

Aside from that, there aren't many intriguing heel Divas on the roster, so Paige could go for a face vs. face rivalry with someone like Natalya. If WWE is looking to push more talent up from the NXT roster, though, maybe a Paige vs. Charlotte feud is in the cards.

Paige vs. AJ is something most fans would probably love to see since all they've had is one quick, impromptu match thus far, but AJ's status is very much up in the air. If there is no return in sight, then Paige will have to continue biding her time.

The Divas champion proved at Money in the Bank that she can do some special things when given the right opponent, so hopefully there is a plan in place to ensure that Paige is set up for success moving forward.
