Miguel Herrera has become something of a football celebrity at this World Cup. The Mexico manager, only at the helm since October, has guided his side into the knockout round and set the Internet alight in the process.
That's because his passionate sideline antics are an absolute goldmine for GIFs and Vines.
But as you can see in the video above, his passion is nothing new. In fact, some might say it was a little excessive back in his playing days, if his bone-crunching challenge at 0:40 is any indication.
In another video, he appears to violently kick an opposing player, although the camera angle prevents a clear view of the incident.
So perhaps the next time you appreciate the wild screams and flailing of Mexico's manager, be grateful he's confined to his technical area and not still prowling the pitch.
