One Norwegian man is in the awkward position of liking Luis Suarez more after the Uruguayan striker showcased his shoulder-biting talents.
Suarez lined Thomas Syverson's pockets with a bit more spending cash—a tidy £500—when Suarez apparently bit Giorgio Chiellini.
Syverson, of Trondhem in Norway, threw down a harmless £3 bet that Suarez would bite someone during the World Cup in Brazil.
Malta-based online gambling site Betsson were offering up 175-1 odds that Suarez would bite for a third time in his checkered career and Syverson went for it.
"I had 32 [Norwegian] Krone on it, so it was just for fun," he told ESPN.com.
The manager of the sports book, Andreas Bardun, told ESPN that 167 people bet Suarez would crave another human during the World Cup. The biggest winner took in $3,300 (roughly £1,940).
