Greece vs. Ivory Coast: Highlights from Group C Match

Greece advanced to the knockout stages of the 2014 World Cup in dramatic fashion, as Georgios Samaras hit home an injury-time goal from the penalty spot to seal a 2-1 win. 

Here's the penalty that doomed the Ivory Coast.

One point would have been enough for the Ivory Coast to advance. They've never advanced past the group stages of the tournament. Greece face Costa Rica in the round of 16.

Andreas Samaris struck for Greece in the 43rd minute, giving them a crucial lead and putting them in position to reach the knockout stages if the result had held.

Wilfried Bony scored a crucial equaliser for Les Elephants, one-timing home a shot set up by Gervinho.

Goalkeeper Boubacar Barry was quite pleased.
