The Rangers struggled, once again, against the powerful bats of the Detroit Tigers as the Tigers make easy work of Texas by a final score of 8-6.

Joe Saunders gave up six runs to Anibal Sanchez's four.

After a very strong start, Sanchez began to struggle with his command; his defense didn't help him much either.

The Rangers began their first at-bats down by three and Detroit's lead never seemed to be in any serious danger throughout the ball game.

Ian Kinsler produced with success yet again against his former team. Kinsler finished the game 2-3 with two walks and two runs scored.

These two teams are at complete opposite realms of the spectrum. Detroit is on cloud nine while Texas is drowning in mediocrity. A victory in game three of this series could give the Rangers the spark they need.
