Neymar's got a new pair of boots.

After Adidas launched special-edition footwear for Lionel Messi's birthday, Nike unveiled their a shiny new product for their World Cup superstar.

Neymar's new boots are a version of the Nike Hypervenom, the inspiration for which reportedly came from the man himself. Apparently, as a 12-year-old, Neymar used to spray-paint his own boots gold, and Nike took that inspiration pretty seriously.

According to Nike Football Design Director Denis Dekovic, "The biggest challenge was getting the gold tone perfect so it had the right spray-painted look."

So what do you think, did they succeed? Check out some more photos below and let us know in the comments.
