ESPN reporter Jeremy Schaap was delivering a preview from the Amazonia Arena in Manaus when a couple of very large cicadas appeared on his shirt.

To his enormous credit, Schaap stayed calm and didn't flinch—producing a highly professional broadcast without so much as mentioning the critters.

Then, after the story went viral, Schaap admitted the bugs hadn't flown onto him—they had been placed there on purpose!

The U.S. play Portugal in Manaus on Sunday night.
