Belgium suffered under the weight of being "dark horses" during their World Cup opener with Algeria. Although goals from Marouane Fellaini and Dries Mertens were enough to see off Sofiane Feghouli's penalty, Marc Wilmots' side were disappointing overall.

So too were Russia, who scrambled to a 1-1 draw with South Korea after Igor Akinfeev dropped the ball over his own line. It's all to play for in Group H, meaning the next set of results will have a huge say on who qualifies for the knockout stages.

We simmed the upcoming match on FIFA 14. You know the deal.

Belgium vs. Russia: FIFA 14 Highlights

Well, blandest sim of the World Cup has been decided. Aside from the opening opportunity, not one memorable opportunity was created by either side. Fabio Capello's England were said to have produced some bland performances, but my word, this beats the lot. A draw helps Belgium more than the Russians, but such a scoreline would leave the group undecided heading into the final matches.
