LSU Football: Les is more...for today!

Paul SalmanSenior Analyst IMay 2, 2008

I may be alone in this camp, but I think it's very impressive that LSU has dismissed quarterback Ryan Perrilloux.

With Matt Flynn being drafted, Ryan Perrilloux; being a top recruit in 2005 and showing his skills on the field in a few key games last year; was set to take over the starting job in 2008.

For a team coming off a national championship, and losing some key pieces of that team to the NFL draft, most schools would find an excuse to allow their next star to stay on the team in order to continue winning.

If LSU can still find a way to compete in the tough SEC, Les will prove to be much much more!
