San Diego native Thatcher Demko is arguably the best goalie in this year's draft class. Standing at 6'3'' and 192 pounds, he has the size and ability to excel in the NHL.

Last year with Boston College, this left-handed stopper was one of the NCAA's top netminders, posting a 2.24 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in 24 games.

Demko is a butterfly goalie and a great lateral mover. He isn't afraid to come out and challenge shooters, but when deeper in the net, his size make him a solid stopper.

See who The Hockey News' Ryan Kennedy believes Demko compares to and when he'll see time on NHL ice.
