We Remember: Michael Jordan Selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA Draft

On June 19, 1984, one sentence changed the Chicago Bulls' history forever.

With the third pick in the 1984 NBA draft, Chicago selected Michael Jordan, the shooting guard out of North Carolina who would eventually lead the Bulls to six NBA championships.

He also went on to earn five Most Valuable Player awards while averaging 30.1 points per game throughout his career.
