It's safe to say that Thomas Mueller is a talented finisher. The Germany forward claimed the Golden Boot in the 2010 World Cup with five goals, and he got off to a great start in 2014 by hitting a hat-trick in his first game.

So when BBC posted a video of this abysmal effort in Germany training, in which he chipped a shot directly into some poor diner's head, the only logical conclusion is that he meant to do it.

Let that be a warning to all would-be spectators at Germany training: Don't cross Mueller, lest you take a ball to the face.
