Well done, #VEMIBRA. Who knew a hashtag could be so successful?

When Sweden failed to qualify for the World Cup, while it meant the World Cup would be graced by Cristiano Ronaldo's presence, it also meant that it would be without one of the world's best and most entertaining players, Zlatan Ibrahimovic

At the urging of players like Brazilian Ronaldo and Dani Alves, a campaign was launched to persuade the enigmatic Swede to attend the world's biggest footballing showcase.

Based on a series of tweets and social networking posts, not only did Ibrahimovic arrive, but he took in the Spain-Chile match and even met some World Cup official mascot, Fuleco.
