Reds Pitcher Johnny Cueto Fails to Break Bat over Knee After Striking Out

Pitchers usually don't take hitting too seriously, but Johnny Cueto holds himself to a high standard on the mound and at the plate.

The Cincinnati Reds pitcher was frustrated with himself after failing to move the runners over in the fourth inning of Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, so he attempted to break his bat over his knee as he walked back to the dugout. It didn't go the way he had hoped.

Hopefully Cueto wasn't by a bat when the Reds bullpen blew a three-run lead in the seventh inning after he was taken out of the game. Luckily, Cincinnati was able to get a late home run from Todd Frazier, so the team didn't waste a strong outing by Cueto.
