Brian Burke made his first move of the day by signing Colton Orr to a four-year deal worth $4 million dollars, which will see the the rugged forward making $1 million per season.

Burke said that one of the main issues that he was going to address on July 1 was the Maple Leafs lack of toughness.

Well, he definitely addressed this with the signing of Colton Orr.

Orr ranked third in the NHL last season with 193 PIM, while also contributing one goal and four assists for the New York Rangers.

The 27-year-old tough guy from Winnipeg will be joining his third team in his short six-year career, coincidentally all original six teams.
