John Brooks' Goal in 86th Minute Gives United States Victory over Ghana

Just when it looked like Ghana was going to break the United States' hearts once again, a late goal off a corner kick gave Team USA an important victory in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana's Andre Ayew tied the game in the 82nd minute, but the United States was able to answer back just moments later.

John Brooks, who came on as a substitute at halftime, scored on a header off Graham Zusi's corner kick in the 86th minute to put the United States ahead 2-1:
